Description
The Space
House is close to beautiful lake Apoyo. There are public beach accesses, however we recommend one of the daily resorts where you can swim and go canoeing and order lunch in beautiful natural tropical surroundings. At the resort we personally go to you can meet people from many countries. Last visit we met people from ten different nationalities.
Guest Access
Except for our bodega and one closet market private the whole house is available.
Interaction with Guests
We will not be on location, however our caretaking staff will be available to help with questions or problems
Other Things to Note
Only one bedroom has air conditioning, the reason being that the climate where the property is situated is about 10 to fifteen degrees Fahrenheit cooler than the surrounding areas due to the elevation and the breeze that crosses two lakes before reaching the house
The Neighborhood
The house is one of four homes own by foreigners overlooking the Laguna.
The rest of the neighborhood is tipically Nicaraguan
Getting Around
Bus and taxi service is very inexpensive and abundant.

Joined in Mar 2023My wife and I have lived in Central America for about 15 years but now find ourselves living in the USA Although English is our first language we have been working in the Spanish field since 1984. We have a beautiful house situated in a natural reserve overlooking a crater lake in Nicaragua. Our house is cared for by a number of friends who live very close to and manage the property for us.
