Description
The Space
In the kitchenette a fridge, range and oven, sink, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven are all available. You will have wireless internet access upon request. An air conditioner in the bedroom is available while in the space. An additional air mattress is available for use upon request. The deck, backyard garden & balcony are all shared access.
Guest Access
The premises is gated at the mid-level. The apartment is on the top (or third) floor, so please expect to use one flight of stairs.
Interaction with Guests
We will be available to offer ideas on what to experience in foods and things to do here in the area. Private surf lessons may be available depending on conditions. Please contact us for pricing and more information on surfing as well as other things to do in Puerto Rico.
Other Things to Note
We have solar power. Also, the kitchenette has a small gas stove/oven, and the balcony has a charcoal grill available. Please use caution and be safe.
The Neighborhood
The neighborhood is modest with local housing. The view of several islands off the east coast of Puerto Rico is beautiful; and it is most enjoyable especially during the sunrise and sunset times of the day. Often there is a cooling ocean breeze there.
Getting Around
It is recommended to rent or have access to personal transportation. Transportation services like Uber are not as reliable in this area as in other locations. Some places to visit are Seven Seas Beach (9 mins), Fajardo Bio Bay (9 mins), Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Fajardo (10 mins), Restaurant Kiosks and Beach of Luquillo (Balenario de Luquillo) (19 mins), Ferry Terminal of Ceiba to the Island of Vieques or Culebra Island (23 mins), El Yunque Rainforest of Rio Grande (30 mins), Old San Juan of Puerto Rico (57 mins) and Bethel of Puerto Rico (65 mins).

Joined in Mar 2022I and my husband are Jehovah’s Witnesses serving in the island of Puerto Rico. I love jw.org. The content I appreciate most is the study Bible, the music, and the morning worship programs. My husband’s favorite hobby is surfing and mine is singing. We both treasure the gift of prayer. We appreciate the value of family worship. We have been living in Puerto Rico for over 15 years serving the English/Spanish fields.
