Welcome to our quaint and cozy third floor walk-up! For 15 years we have been hosting our brothers and sisters supporting the foreign language fields in St Louis: Vietnamese, Croatian, Sign-Language, Spanish, Swahili, and Arabic. It is a simple 800ft² apartment with thoughtful amenities to make you feel safe and comfortable. The two lower apartments are occupied by fellow JW families. We have incorporated security cameras and other safety features to monitor the exterior of the property.

Description
The Space
This is a THIRD FLOOR walk-up. Please be aware that you will need to carry all of your belongings and luggage up 3 flights of stairs.
There is 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and an open kitchen/living area. Plenty of natural light!
Guest Access
The entrance to The Attic is a separate entrance around the side of the home. The stairs are well lit but there are a lot of them! Please plan accordingly.
There is free on-site street parking.
Interaction with Guests
We do not live on site, but we are available by phone. We do, however, have a property manager on site to handle any emergencies.
Other Things to Note
You will need a vehicle as we aren't in a walkable area.
The Attic is located in an older neighborhood in St. Louis city proper. We experience very little crime in the area, but it's always a possibililty. We strongly encourage guests to be vigilant about not leaving anything visible in the vehicle.
The Neighborhood
The Attic is located across the street from a school, so you'll hear the school bell occasionally. We're also very near a large church, so church bells on Sunday are to be expected. The upside is that there's plenty of parking since there are no houses across the street.
Getting Around
Public transportation in St Louis isn't great. We generally don't recommend it. You'll need a vehicle or Uber to get around.

Joined in Apr 2023My name is Gary Hutchins. The friends call me "Skip". We attend the Westlake Cong. in OKC where I serve as an elder. We moved the OKC to care for my wife's aging parents. We moved from Saint Louis Mo where we own a historic three level home in South City. The first two floors are leased yearly by brothers and sisters. We have been renting the third floor to a SKE grad who moved in to do Swahili. He just recently recieved a new assignment and we decided to turn the apartment into a BroBnB so my wife and I can also use it as we commute. We speak Croatian and travel to STL to attend and support the Croatian Cong there. Many of the friends travel to Saint Louis to attend conventions, assembles, visit hospitals, use the airport, ballgames, and sightseeing. We hope our brothers can use this affordable place when traveling instead of hotels and other more expensive options. We look forward to serving you!
