There is a butterfly garden in the back yard. The room can transform from a bedroom to a living room in minutes. There is extra living space under the insulated lanai with glider, chair and table near outdoor kitchen area.

The Space
This is a five star, private side apartment that was built and furnished with love for my own elderly parents. Until they are ready to move in, its serving as a great vacation spot for others. The unit is clean and comfortable! 30day minimum stay
Guest Access
You will have your own side-driveway, parking spot, entrance into a beautiful Florida lanai. Once in, enter through private door with keypad.
Interaction with Guests
I am always available for help if you need it. I would love to meet you but also respect your privacy.
Other Things to Note
There are two, small conure parrots in my side of the house. Their names are Mango and Bacardi. They are rainbow colored, tame and a taste of the new system! If you wish to interact with them, you can tell me and they will kiss you and sit on you for as long as you let them. If you do not wish to see them, they will stay indoors.
The Neighborhood
This neighborhood is older and predominantly Spanish. This means great Cuban food and an open marketplace where you can try your hand at bartering is nearby. Two nearby KHs and yes we need help with our territory (English) if you want that type of experience during your stay;) You MAY hear music at times in the neighborhood, but most are respectful and understand that quiet time is after 10pm.
Getting Around
Having your own car is the only way to go. There is a bus, but routes are limited, and like Armageddon, you never know when its coming! Florida is flat, full of visitors and everything is spread out! Be prepared to drive at least a half hour if not an hour to get to anything. That said, I am only minutes away to grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, laundromats and banks.

Joined in Jun 2023Hi! I would love to help you with your plans to enjoy Southwest Florida! I'm a concierge by trade so I can hook you up with the best food, beaches and hot spots in the area. My daughter is a surfer and I love photography and the sun (when we are not out in service)! I helped in foreign language for 25 yrs. Although I forgot most of my Russian, I am still fluent in Italian if you are coming from Italy! Which brings me to my next 'joys': Strong coffee and good wine! My motto? Life is like a camera-focus on what's important! My dream getaway would be Hawaii, Figi or Bali...but for now, I'll be here to host you with your dream getaway to Florida!
