19th Century Rural Farm Cottage
Hosted by

About this listing
Traditional old farmhouse located on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the Mizen Head Peninsula. So much to see and do within a 50 mile radius. A real taste of how life was in the 19th century in Ireland (However, we do have a washing machine, shower, albeit not the best water pressure, running hot water, and WiFi at 27mbps). For peace and serenity, there's nothing quite like it. The road to the house is called a boreen, an unpaved road, carved out of the surrounding rocks. (I have a jeep u can use )

Joined in Feb 2023Hi, my name is Wendy, I’ve been a regular pioneer for going on 50 years. I’ve also been putting Airbnb‘s together for close to 30 years. I was born in Scotland, then moved to the United States when was 20 ,I married, raised family, and have now returned to Ireland, to serve where the need is great. I also raise Scottish Deerhound s, I love to garden, read, and entertain. I’ve traveled extensively, but I’m very happy here on the wild Atlantic Way. I’ll be happy to help you plan your trip so you can see the most you can ,in the time you have.
