Pocola Farmhouse close to Ft Smith

About this listing
We love the ease of access and generous front porch at this little farmhouse. The rooms are small but comfortable. It is an excellent place to stay while visiting family, for work, or while attending the convention in Ft Smith. Pocola is about 10 miles from Ft. Smith.
We have been slowly remodeling and fixing up the farmhouse and there may be doors and paints and other things in the rooms for a while. Please note this work in progress in some of the pictures.

Guest Access
The entire house will be available excluding a locked closet. There may be some items used in the remodel in the rooms such as new doors and paints and things in the laundry room.
Interaction with Guests
We are available by phone, text or email anytime. We do have family in the area in case of emergency.
We are experienced hosts, but this is our first home in Oklahoma.
Other Things to Note
There are security cameras outside the house. They are motion activated. The house is being remodeled and there may be signs of work started but not completed in the house. Every trip down we get something done!
The Neighborhood
Typical small town rural community. This house built in 1920 was likely the first on this road.

Joined in Oct 2023Hi, my husband and I moved to the Black Hills over 30 years ago. We love the beauty and lace of life here.. we love antiques and gardening. We enjoy pioneering together and working on LDC projects. Recently we bought a small old farmhouse in the town I grew up in Oklahoma. We plan to spend more time there to take care of my aging parents. We are slowly remodeling and fixing it up. We have done this with several homes in the Hills. We have had a few vacation homes here in this high tourist area. We enjoy showing hospitality and love to travel.
