The Space
This is a family friendly, 3 bedroom home. A beautiful patio, with a weber, looks onto the swimming pool.
Patio has a gate to close up for any younger children. The house is open and airy with large windows and sliding doors onto the front patio. An open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 fridges, microwave, kettle, toaster, multiple cooking appliances and equipment. Gas stove top, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Most importantly also a Breville Espresso machine.
The house has 3 bedrooms in total. 2 bedrooms have queen size beds and sleeps 2 guests per room. They share
a Bathroom with bath and shower. The main bedroom has a King size bed with an en-suite bathroom, with large shower.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the Main 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, pool and garden.
Interaction with Guests
We may not be on the property but we are only a phone call away.

The daily fee includes 2x cleanings during visit
If you wish to sleep more than 6 people let us know. An additional charge will be added for individuals older than 6.
The Neighborhood
Southbroom is a nature conservancy area, so the area allows the natural sub tropical coastal dune forest to flourish along with preserving the natural wildlife, fauna and flora. It is not uncommon to see shy Bush Buck and Blue Duiker crossing the small village roads as well as the numerous quantity of bird life, (including Trumpeter Hornbills, Knysna Loeries, Fish Eagles, Cormorants, Seagulls, etc) One just has to be quiet and very observant and
perhaps pay a visit to the Fredricka Nature preserve or the Bush Buck Trail, sit on one of the benches and observe carefully.
Our home is set one kilometre as the crow flies from the beach, however three kilometres from the Main beach area on the north side and equidistant from the Mkobi beach on the south side of Southbroom. Both beaches offer lifeguards on duty during the holiday season periods and over weekends out of season. (NB: It is always wise to bathe within the indicated flags and follow the instructions of the life savers to avoid any rip currents, especially
if you are unfamiliar with sea conditions.)
Southbroom Village:
The village has numerous restaurants and takeaways plus a very convenient Spar store that goes out of its way to obtain and provide whatever is needed by the residents, just chat to the friendly manager. The Southbroom Golf course is one of the 50 best golf courses in South Africa and is very accommodating, encourages walk in Golfers for a friendly game of golf, be that for 18 holes early in the morning or 9 holes in the afternoon, generally after 14h00.
Mulligan’s the golf course restaurant also invites visitors to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner alternatively, visit in the afternoon to obtain the very reasonably priced take away specials that are advertised every week.
There is a local doctor, dentist and pharmacy within the village as well as estate agencies, hairdressers, hardware shop, beauty spa’s, interior decor shop, police station, coffee shops....what more would you want for a peaceful holiday spot?

Joined in Dec 2023Hi My name is Malcolm. My wife Marion and I own a rental property in Southbroom, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was our dream to build this property and one day retire there. Until that day we are renting it out for all of you to enjoy! Together we have been married 41 Years, we have three children together who live all over the world. We grew up on the coast and so our hobbies include surfing, body boarding, reading, talking long walks and of course you cant forget the legendary South African Braai. Here at our home we will let you enjoy your vacation and the accommodation without any interference from us. This is a family friendly home, that has a beautiful patio with a weber that looks onto a swimming pool. Our house is open concept with airy large windows and sliding doors that open onto the large outdoor patio. We have a fully equipped kitchen ready for all your dining needs. We have multiple rental options including a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom main home. As well as a separate bachelor flat that can be booked with your booking or be rented to another family. We hope you will come visit!
