The Space
The unit is very bright with many windows and 2-sky lights. The living room offers black out shades.
There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. The living room also includes a leather euro lounger that could be turned into a twin size bed.
The full bathroom has an additional area with a hutch and mirror which will allows for more that one person to get ready in the bathroom.
Guest Access
You have the whole unit to yourselves. Slider from kitchen leads to private deck overlooking bamboo grove.
Interaction with Guests
We live on the property and are available to answer questions, make suggestions or provide something you might have forgotten. We are always up for a chat. And are perfectly giving you all the space you desire.
Other Things to Note
Below the apartment is a detached studio occupied by my sister with its own entry. There are no shared doors or spaces.
The Neighborhood
Conveniently located close to many of the area's natural sites, we are within walking distance of Lake Washington, downtown Kirkland, Juanita Bay Park and Juanita Beach Park.
The town of Kirkland is a bustling downtown, which offers a vibrant downtown, artisan coffee shops, fine dining and numerous parks. If interested in shopping The Village at Totem Lake and Kirkland Urban have you covered.
Centrally located Forbes Creek is tucked away and surrounded by numerous trails and a creek. It's safe and quiet with many new homes. Lake Washington is a little over a mile away and is teeming with wildlife. Although it may not feel like it, downtown Kirkland is only about 2 miles, closer if you choose to walk. You will be able to enjoy the vibrant waterfront, artisan coffee shops (no shortage here), fine dining, shopping and parks. Up for a hike? St. Edwards State Park, once a seminary, the day-use park offers historic architecture & lakeshore space. Finish the hike at The Lodge for a spectacular meal to indulge the senses.
