The apartment is 1000 square feet. It has two bedrooms and one bath. There is also a living room and kitchenette. The entrance to the apartment is through our front door and then up the staircase. The apartment is fully furnished, and includes all linens.
We offer a continental breakfast and dinner, upon request, for an additional fee.
My husband and I and our 4 pound Yorkie, Big Jake, live downstairs.
We are 7 miles from Duke University Hospital, 12 miles from RDU and 5 miles from the KH.

The Space
The apartment is completely private. There are two bedrooms and a jack and jill bathroom, a living room, and a kitchenette.
Both bedrooms have walk-in closets.
Guest Access
My husband and I live downstairs.
The backyard and deck are our private areas.
We have parking for one car on the driveway and also street parking.
We have security lights on the driveway and also a security system in the house.
The apartment has a keyless entrance.
We have cable TV with Netflix, Roku, Hulu, Disney+, and prime TV
Interaction with Guests

Other Things to Note
We have a senior Yorkie, Big Jake. While he mostly stays in our room and sleeps, he will bark if the doorbell rings, guest arrive, or when excited to go outside. He is never allowed upstairs in the apartment.
Our meetings are Saturday at 11 am and Thursday at 7 pm. We are less than 10 minutes from the Kingdom Hall.
We have service arrangements at our home Sunday at 10:30 am.
The Neighborhood
We live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.

If transportation is needed, Durham has Uber, Lyft, and taxis.

Joined in Feb 2022My husband and I are an older couple in the Durham East North Carolina congregation. We are fourth generation witnesses. We have three children and six grandchildren. We enjoy traveling both as a couple and a family.
