This home Hale O'Lawai'a has a private kayak launch with excellent channel access to Kealakekua Bay. The property offers three different rental options.

The main home is divided upstairs and downstairs into private rental units. The upstairs unit has 3 bedrooms, with a King, Queen, and a queen and 1 twin, & 2 bathrooms with a living room with a large 39 inch flat screen TV and kitchen.

With a spectacular view of the bay, the upstairs lanai is a great place to enjoy your meals or an evening sunset.

We do have a charcoal bbq, and a small out door sitting area.

near the bay is common and shared among all the guests on the property.

We do have wifi, cable on our 39 inch flat screen TV, phone, etc. We do provide the linens, cookware, dishware, bath /beach towels for each of the rentals.

We do provide kayaks (need to schedule use with property manager onsite upon arrival).

Kayaks are available for use when you rent any of the units, which allows you access to the entire bay and some of the best snorkeling in all of Hawaii.

We have 4 double man kayaks, and 1 single. We provide the life jackets, etc..
The use of the kayaks are arrange upon arrival with our property manager on site (Amma)
The kayaks are shared between all three rentals.

As you paddle across the bay, it is very common to see spinner dolphins swimming along side people snorkeling. In the winter months you may see whales breaching. Use caution when entering or exiting the channel or you just might huli your kanui!

To safely view other protected marine species besides spinner dolphins and humpback whales, we recommend viewing from the following safe distances:
- Remain 10 feet away from sea turtles, on land and in the water
- Remain 50 feet away from Hawaiian monk seals, on land and in the water
- Remain 50 yards (150 feet) away from dolphins and small whales
- Remain 100 yards (300 feet) away from large whales (e.g., sperm whales)

Upstairs: $385/night + $225 cleaning fee plus tax
Downstairs: $275/night + $195 cleaning fee plus tax
Cottage: $235/night + $145 cleaning fee plus tax
