Guests are free to use the backyard and take a private stroll around the gardens. Steve is an avid gardener and if he’s home he’d love nothing more than to show you around and answer any questions.

The Neighborhood

We are a 6 minute drive to Mooloolaba Beach, 15-20 minutes from Australia Zoo. Mooloolaba is in the centre of the Sunshine Coast. There are 53 beaches for you to explore all within a one hour driving radius. If it’s hiking you enjoy visit the Glasshouse Mountains or climb Mount Coolum. You can walk safely to the beach and around the lakes nearby your accommodation. Whale watching, diving expeditions and day trips to Fraser Island can be booked from Mooloolaba Wharf.

Getting Around

There is a public bus stop directly outside our home that will take you north and south along the Sunshine Coast. All public transport is just 50 cents AUD anywhere in Queensland. Trains to Brisbane leave from Nambour or Landsborough.

Steven and Maureen. We’ve been living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland for the past 26 years and part of the Mooloolaba Congregation. We raised our two children here in our home, both who have moved out so we’re empty nesters now. We live 6 mins from Mooloolaba Beach and there are 52 beaches here on the Sunny Coast that you can explore between Caloundra and Noosa Hinterland country drives to Montville, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. We love to walk on the beach, visit cafes and country driving. We love Thai Food! It’s only a 15-20 minute drive to Australia Zoo (home of the Crocodile Hunter). 90 minutes to Brisbane Airport. 15 minutes to MCY Maroochydore Sunshine Coast Airport.
