It has a full kitchen, bathroom w/ shower and is a one block walk to the village of Kent with coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, art galleries. Kent was named the best place to visit in the Fall by Yankee Magazine.
We are 30 min. from Patterson, 1 hr. 15 min from Walkill & 1 hr. 30 min to Warwick.

Description
The Space
Just completed in October 2024, our beautiful studio apartment is decorated in MCM. It features a large front picture window, 2 skylights, and two large windows out the back overlooking fields and our own island on the Housatonic River. (Named by the Mohican Indians, "place beyond the mountain"). The apartment is located above our separate garage and features a patio looking out woods and fields.
Guest Access
Our studio apartment's private entrance is accessed to the right of our 2 car garage along a private flagstone walkway. Guests of course have the entire studio apartment.
Interaction with Guests
In our congregation (member for over 40 years) Stosh is known as Brother Hospitality. We both enjoy the company of our brothers and sisters. Any needs or questions about our space or the small tourist town of Kent, we are happy to help with!
Other Things to Note
Kent, Connecticut is a small town in the Northwestern Hills of Connecticut (pop. 3,500). We have many shops, art galleries, restaurants and two coffee shops within walking distance. We are down a quiet dirt road lane near the river one block from town. Very picturesque, our town hosts tourists that enjoy walking the Main Street with its shops, etc.
The Neighborhood
Our studio apartment is just off Main Street on a dead end dirt lane that ends at the Housatonic River. Keep an eye out the two large back windows and fox, deer, birds of all kinds including hawks that fish the river.
Getting Around
We are one block walking distance from town. Its a 10 minute drive to Kent Falls State Park and a 5 minute drive to Macedonia State Park.

Joined in May 2024I teach sewing, have been baptized since I was 10. My husband Stosh and I have been married for 50 years. I have 2 sons in the truth and 5 grandchildren. We live in a small rural town. I enjoy reading, sewing, gardening, Bible studies and hosting our service group.
