Description
The Space
One off street parking space, private entrance, full bathroom, stackable washer/dryer, full kitchenette countertop convection/toaster oven & dual induction cooktop-no full size range-microwave, fridge/freezer. Queen size bed, with optional twin floor mattress for a third guest.
Guest Access
Keyless entry. The entire studio apartment and balcony is for your use. Side yard, front yard, backyard, downstairs patio is for host use only. Hosts share the driveway and access to the garage. Guest entrance is a private door next to the garage, the apartment stairwell entrance is inside the garage. The space is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or small/young children.
Interaction with Guests
We live and work from the main house. It’s very common to never cross paths, as we respect the privacy of our guests. We are always easily accessible there app or text messages & are happy to provide recommendations and assistance when needed.
Other Things to Note
Two tiny dogs live in the main house, so you may occasionally hear their excitement.
There is a mandatory additional occupancy tax that the county of San Diego requires. This is 8% in add to the booking fees from this site. Thank you.
The Neighborhood
Our Guest House is located in the charming, safe neighborhood of historic Mt Helix. We are central to everything San Diego has to offer. About 23 minutes to San Diego International Airport & downtown urban life, 1 hour to Temecula wine country, 30 minutes to the Mexican border, 25 minutes to the nearest beach, 2.5 hours to Palm Springs.
Getting Around
Best way to get around in San Diego is by car. Uber & Lyft are always good options, but a car rental is ideal. There is a trolley stop about 6 minutes away from our property. And locals love to bike and cycle on the streets in our immediate neighborhood. Very friendly neighbors. There are no sidewalks & there’s lots of curves & hills, so please be cautious.

Joined in Dec 2024My husband and I are San Diego natives, but we have roamed around as need greaters in South America for a year & Bethelites for 5 years. We have been back in California for about 10 years & have been hosting our little apartment Guest House with Airbnb for 2 years. We enjoy being hosts & sharing our home & city with visitors.
