About this listing

We are centrally located, less than 1 mile from our Kingdom Hall. But many others exist in and around the city, including other languages and groups.
No matter what time of year you come, there's always something to see ???? and do.
Visit either side of Niagara Falls easily. We're near the Art District, for outdoor shopping and festivals. You can also enjoy Shea's Theater or Kleinhan's Music Hall to enjoy music and shows. If beaches are more your thing,  there are a few nearby to choose from.

Description

The Space

We combined the older characteristics of this home from the early 1900s with some newer ones from today to give you The LaMonté Marié. 

This is a lower apartment with three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Bedroom 1 (master bedroom) has a king-size bed and is off the kitchen.  

Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and is off the dining room.

Bedroom 3 has one single day-bed with a single pull-out trundle underneath that can be raised for easier access in and out of bed.  This can be done by either the guests or the host if you let us know in advance.  

Each bedroom has its own alarm clock, TV, and remote. There is a reading nook off of bedroom 3 as well, with a bean bag chair and a small nightstand. This area can also be a small play area for young ones.

The living room has futon couch that opens to a full size mattress/bed.

The dining room table can comfortably fit 7 to 8 people, and more chairs can be provided if necessary.

Guest Access

The full lower apartment is at your disposal.  There is a shared backyard for the upper and lower apartments,  which is fenced-in. 

We are planning to have the upstairs apartment (also 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) available for rent in the spring.  This will offer a whole house rental or two separate units.

Interaction with Guests

Our home is a few doors away... far enough to give you the privacy you want and close enough to offer the help and support you may need. 

We love to meet our brothers and sisters from different areas but completely understand if you're wanting to stay low key.

Other Things to Note

Although this unit accommodates 8 comfortably (which includes the full size futon in the living room), additional sleeping arrangements can also be rented, for example a single size roll away bed or queen size air mattress. These would fit in the common area only.

The Neighborhood

We have a world-famous pizzeria a couple of blocks away. Then just past that is a street with the kind of diverse shops that remind me of a mini New York City. If you travel a few blocks in the other direction you find yourself in the Art District, shopping, music, or just people-watching. There are a few farmer's markets in the neighborhood on the weekend also.

Getting Around

A bus stop is a a few doors away. It can either take you downtown to the main bus depot and train station or let you stay downtown and catch a show, concert, or head over to Canalside.
