In the early 1900s, Korba was the first part of Heliopolis to be built as a haven for wealthy foreigners and aristocrats. Even though Heliopolis has grown a lot since then, Korba still holds its place as the area's cultural heart. Today, Korba is a charming shopping district with unique architecture, fascinating cultural sites, and some of the best cafes and restaurants in Cairo.
