Our Self-Contained *GUEST HOUSE* is located next door to our *MAIN HOME* near the Medieval town of Obidos and the Obidos Castle. It has it's own kitchen, wall oven, counter cook top, center island, sunroom/living room, and its own bedroom with an ensuite shower and WC.
All of this overlooking a beautiful in-ground pool and native landscaping.
The main house and guest house are built in a U Shape surrounding the in-ground pool. This space is warm and inviting. It is also very clean and new.

The Space
We look forward to welcoming you to your quiet retreat overlooking our beautiful Salt Water Pool which is heated during the months of May to October.
You can expect a wonderful sleep in a new comfort mattress (US queen size) and high quality bed linens and towels.
We have also outfitted your space with all the basics you will need including bath robes, etc. The kitchen is well equipped for making your own meals including a Nespresso coffee machine.
Guest Access
Our location is very central and convenient for visiting all the best spots in Portugal.
We have a new Kingdom Hall Location as of April 01, 2025. It is now in Alfeizerão. We are located in the heart of our territory only 20 min. from the Obidos English Kingdom Hall.
It is a beautiful Kingdom Hall.
Day trips can be made to Lisbon, Sintra (with it's famous castles), Porto - Douro Valley - the Northern Wine Region, Leiria, Alcobaca, Nazaré (and their famous large waves in the winter), Peniche (the Surf Capital), Alentejo - the Southern Wine Region, Coimbra and of course the Obidos Castle nearby.
Our Location is only a 50 min. drive from Lisbon and the International Airport. We are located just 10-15 min. from the beautiful Silver Coast beaches and Obidos Lagoon.
We are walking distance to the amazing medieval town of Obidos.

The Neighborhood
We are located in a rural setting in the country that is very quiet, yet only a 5 minute drive to the bustling town of Caldas da Rainha.
Once you confirm your reservation, we can send you an electronic "Welcome Book" that shows you everything you will need to know about our local area, such as amenities, shopping, groceries, beaches, golf, spas, places to eat and places to visit, etc.
You have many choices for grocery stores and great shopping nearby. There is also a daily fresh, local produce market located in the center of town every morning. The produce is amazing, direct from the local farms at very reasonable prices.
We are also located just 10-15 minutes from beautiful, picturesque beaches on the Silver Coast that are some of the best that Portugal has to offer.
We are near amazing golf courses such as West Cliffs Golf Course and the Royal Obidos Spa and Golf Resort.
We are located an 8 minute drive to the bus station in Caldas da Rainha that have buses available to take you anywhere in Portugal at reasonable rates, if you don't feel like driving that day.
Getting Around
There is transit available. we have a great bus system at reasonable prices to get you go to the main centers such as Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve region in the south, if you don't want to drive in the cities.
However, you will still need a rental car to get around to see all the sites nearby within a 1 to 2 hour drive. There is so much to see here and driving around this area of Portugal is very easy.
Even driving from the airport is an easy drive to our home.
We suggest using www.discovercars.com however, we suggest using the filters on the Discover cars website to find a rental company with at least a rating of 9.0 to avoid unwanted surprises on your bill, later, after you return home.
