Description
The Space
Beach Haven is a spacious 3,700 s.f. beautiful home with stunning Timberpeg Design. Located in the Mid-Coast/Saint George, Muscongus/Penobscot Bay Region the area called 'where the mountains meet the sea'. Watch spectacular sunrises, sunsets, lobster boats, sailboats, and birds galore right outside your door or from the cozy sun room. Ocean views from every room! There really is something to be said for the fresh balsam sea air and the quality of light. The Saint George Peninsula is an artists paradise. The home is located on a private lane for peace and quiet.
5 bedrooms, 2 &1/2 bath (the 5th bedroom is a queen sleeper sofa in living room with door for privacy)
Rare private beach easily accessible with no stairs and includes 200 feet of ocean frontage: Perfect for wading, swimming, launching kayaks and stand up paddle boards that can be rented and delivered to the house.

One bath towel provided for each guest and one set of bed linens for each bed (beds are made up prior to guest arrival). There are no washcloths or beach towels provided, please bring them with you if desired. Starter amount of toilet paper and paper towels provided.
Midcoast:
Port Clyde (5 minutes) is a hidden gem. It's a classic small Maine fishing village with a picturesque harbor and phenomenal views. . . coffee shop, restaurants, ice cream shop, art galleries, general store, kayak rentals and tours and where the ferry leaves for Monhegan Island.
Marshall Point Lighthouse also located in Port Clyde is a must see.
Tenants Harbor is 10 minutes away. It also has a beautiful harbor, farmers market, galleries, restaurants, and general store.
Rockland (20 minutes) is a great 'foodie' town and has been called the 'lobster capital of the world'! It has museums, galleries, cafes, world class restaurants, theaters, and shopping. The Farnsworth Museum has a special center dedicated to the generations of the Wyeth family of artists.
Camden (30 minutes) is called the Jewel of Maine. It is home to a beautiful harbor and Main Street with cafes, bookstores, antique & gift shops, and great restaurants. You can also hike/drive Mount Battie for panoramic views of the entire region.
The Camden Snow Bowl offers down hill skiing/snowboarding. Camden Hills State Park is also great for hiking and cross country skiing.
There are plenty of lighthouses to tour in the area and Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor can be a potential day trip.
