Our lovely new home is located in a gated community with 24-hour security. Perfectly located in the quiet cove of Playa Ocotal, you are only a few hundred steps from the beach. Our home includes a convenient outdoor shower for use after your sandy beach adventures. Each room has an air conditioning unit and the large covered outdoor patio can easily seat 10 people.

Our rental is private to you and your family. Enjoy the entire home. You will be met by our property manager. He will provide you with keys and tour of the home.

Interaction with Guests

We have an on-site professional property management company that will provide access, can arrange wonderful tours and provide lots of additional services. We also would love to assist you during your stay, so you're welcome to reach out to us directly. We can share lots of great information about Costa Rica and how to get around.

Getting Around

Playa Ocotal is located 4.2km from Del Coco beach and our home is only steps from Ocotal beach. The town has lots of restaurants and shops. In fact, the Coco Art Gallery is owned and operated by brothers and sisters. The kingdom hall is also only 4.4km from our house and the congregation loves visitors. There are also brothers that can provide transportation from and to the airport.

House Rules

Our home is your home. As Jehovah's people we can trust one another to behave appropriately. The community does not allow loud music or parties after 10pm. Costa Rican plumbing (even new) isn't what you may be accustomed to so please be mindful and only dispose of toilet paper in the toilets. There is no sink garbage disposal, all food particles must be thrown in the trash, please pour grease/oil also into the trash cans and not down the drain. We ask that you wash away sand from the beach at the outdoor shower located on the right side of the building. We have reverse osmosis for drinking and using for the kettle and coffee maker will help our appliances last longer. The tap water has high mineral content. Lastly, we provide bright, white towels, please use the small blue towels for makeup removal.

Dear Friends, my husband and I love to travel. I was fortunate enough to have experienced the bible lands tour with our son back in 2010. It was an amazing experience and really brought the bible to life. Seeing the pyramids, floating down the Nile, going to the top of Mount Sinai and climbing through Hezekiah's tunnel were some of the most exciting moments ever. We have been to many countries but we fell in love with Costa Rica. The climate is amazing and we hope to eventually live there full time. Until we can move into our brand new Costa Rican paradise home, we want to share it you.
