The home is one side of a duplex. We live on the back side and my in-laws who are also JW live next door. It has a coastal cottage decorative appeal. The living area is very spacious with a large dinning table and comfortable entertainment space with fun amenities such as board games, kids books and movies.

Description
The Space
The kitchen is fully stocked, ready for all your cooking needs. Modern appliances and also a full size stackable washer and dryer. Our place is perfect for the vacationer, “snowbirds”, traveling nurse, work from home or temporary college student. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed, dresser and plenty closet space for your longer stays.
The living room also has a full-sized couch and an Air mattress is also available upon request.
Enjoy the backyard with a front seat view to a small lake. A gas BBQ grill is available upon request and we also have a personal shed for our guests with beach chairs, umbrella and a full sized cooler.
Guest Access
There is guest access to all areas including the back yard, BBQ and driveway. Please keep in mind these areas are also shared by us and my in laws that live next door.
Interaction with Guests
We love seeing the friends around and we also live on the property, but being respectful to our guests privacy is important to us. We do not visit our guests unless otherwise requested, we will follow your lead.
Other Things to Note
The fee per night is for 4 guests total. However, if there is a special request for an additional guest in your party there will be an additional $20/per person per night fee. (5 guests MAX).
The above mentioned must be disclosed at booking.
As you see on our listing, you will see that some areas are shared; the patio and driveway. There is plenty of space in the driveway without blocking your side for coming and going as you please. The left side, directly in front of the entrance is designated for the rental.

Palmetto Cottage is in a quiet neighborhood on the out skirts of the city. Although Palmetto is a small town it has all the major cities close by.
Centrally located in the SW Florida Gulf Coast between various cities; St Petersburg, Tampa, Bradenton and Sarasota
- 6-10 min to grocery store; Publix on Moccasin Wallow Rd, or Aldi, Walmart & Detwiler’s Farmer's Market (our favorite)
- 10 min to Emerson Point Preserve
- 10 min to the Ellenton Outlet Mall and shoppes
- 10-20 min to parks and golf courses
- 20 min to Dali Museum
- 30 min to Ringling Museum of Art
- 20-45 min to some of the top voted beaches in the nation; Ana Maria Island, Siesta Key (Sarasota), Clearwater and Saint Petersburg
- 45 min to Tampa Airport, Busch Gardens Theme Park, and Lowry Park Zoo
- Under 2 hours to Disney World, Orlando airport and attractions.
Getting Around
My husband and I serve in the Pinellas Park Sign Language Cong. My in-laws, who live next door attend the Rio Manatee Spanish Cong. And there are several other Kingdom Halls nearby.
